The Sicilian salted ricotta is a typical product of our territory, a dairy product made from milk and sheep’s milk whey and later subjected to salting, drying and a short aging time. With its compact texture and savory taste, traditional salted ricotta lends itself excellently to grating: it is mainly used to enrich pasta dishes or vegetable-based baked recipes.
